REVIEW: Daniele Brusaschetto - Rapida E Indolore

Crunchy glitch drums meet existential Italian.   Review written for Heathen Harvest, editorial assistance by Sage Weatherford.

"The album has a simple and unified palette: hideously distorted drum machine/programming, simple but evocative string sounds (real or synthesised), and very human-sounding vocals, sung-spoken in a kind of non-musical-but-a-teensy-bit-musical-actually way amongst the noise and battery.  In my estimation, there’s really few things finer than a brutally distorted drum machine, and this album boasts one of the filthiest drum machines I’ve ever heard (and I’ve heard a lot of filthy drum machines in my time)."
